Designing custom icons in a consistent visual design language, according to illumin design system guidelines.
The icons helped to improve the platform functionality, communicate complicated features with limited space and transcend communication barriers that would require additional localization. The icons have been designed to work best in 3 sizes: 16px, 24px, and 32px.
General Rules
- Every icon must be pixel perfect
- Icons should be created in an 512px x 512px artboard, with a 16px grid and 32px margin
- Line width must be 32px
- All lines should be created with a rounded rectangle with a radius value of 4
- The spacing between content inside the borders should be 32px
- Internal corners should have 0 radius
